Question Time in Glasgow LIVE blog as Scotland gears up for general election

Daily Record Thursday, 7 November 2019
Question Time in Glasgow LIVE blog as Scotland gears up for general electionQuestion Time is in Glasgow tonight as campaigning for next month’s general election gets under way in earnest. The visit to Scotland’s biggest city by the BBC’s flagship political debate show is usually a feisty affair. But expect a sizzler this evening as representatives of the main political parties take to the stage. Brexit and IndyRef2 should be the main hits as an invited audience get to grill guest on the issues of the day. Boris Johnson was in Scotland earlier today to peddle his bad Brexit deal so how will the PM’s vision for the post-EU UK be received? Scottish justice secretary Humza Yousaf will be fighting the SNP corner and Barry Gardiner, the shadow international trade secretary, will be batting for Labour tonight. Kirstene Hair, Tory candidate for Angus, journalist Angela Haggerty and Iain Anderson from the communications and marketing group Cicero complete the panel. So buckle up for some, hopefully, incisive political debate from the panel - and the Glasgow crowd. Follows the ins and outs and reaction to the debate here on the Daily Record blog.
