‘I am so honoured to be the recipient of the EMCC Coaching Award. I am grateful to be aligned to an organisation like the EMCC , an organisation that attracts people whose values, beliefs and authentic approach reflects my own and who consistently focus on growing the professionalism of our industry and provides a forum for growth and self- development. I joined the EMCC in 2007, ten years ago, and since that first Conference I have developed, what I consider, true friendships, people who I might only see at the annual conference but feel at home with every time we meet. I know this is due to our shared belief in the power of coaching, the importance of living our best lives and challenging ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves in order to be the best coach for our clients. I could not write this thank you without thanking the people who nominated me. I am forever grateful to everyone who took the time to complete a Nomination Form. I know how busy we all are and giving me this time as your gift means everything to me. Finally, I would like to thank my colleagues in Kingstown College for their wonderful support to me personally. I do not take your friendship for granted and recognise how wonderful it is to have you in my life.’ Paula King

Florence Lamy

Florence is the founder and Senior Partner of Undici International. She is committed to inspiring and animating an organic, resilient, and economically and socially contributing human system. Early on, she became keenly aware of the high level of responsibility of supervision and the supervisor's role in the development of practitioners and the quality of their interventions. This awareness has taken her along the path of researching, structuring and reflecting on what she considers to be a profession in its own right, with its codes, its know-how, its specific models, its human needs etc. Florence is currently working on creating the links between supervision, organisations and the energy of organisations.

‘First of all, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this award, which makes sense of my path in supervision, which I started more than a decade ago. Your view of my contribution to the profession touches me very much, because I feel that I have discreetly questioned the evidence in the research work I am doing with my faithful companion on the road, Michel Moral. I feel very honoured that this work has contributed to our profession. Thanks again to you for this encouragement which will help me to carry on.’ Florence Lamy
