Public Policy Projects’ Virtual Hubs at the 2020 Conservative Party Conference brings
together influential
organisations and decision makers across multiple sectors. At the
largest meeting
of Conservative MPs, Government Ministers, local government and
international governmental delegates in the UK, three virtual “Hubs”
provide attendees with opportunities to ask questions and gather a
unique insight into some of the key ideas forming the new
Government’s policy.The "Health & Social Care Hub" Sessions
in this hub will be informing and empowering decision makers to
formulate the health agenda for the decade ahead and asses policy reform
that will reduce healthcare inequalities across the UK, support a
system of primary and community care whilst making it
sustainable for future generations.The “International Hub” Sessions
in this hub will be assessing the global lessons of Covid-19,
identifying changes to the global policy landscape and work on sharing
ideas from around the world to improve mental health and wellbeing.The “Infrastructure Hub’’
Sessions in this hub will assess how the Government will level up
Britain through delivering
new and improved infrastructure, looking particularly at how the state
of the economy and infrastructure will change in the post-Covid era.About PPP

Stephen is Executive Chairman of Public Policy Projects and Chair of
LaingBuisson, the healthcare market intelligence company. Stephen was
Chair of the NHS Confederation between November 2015-2019. Stephen was a
Member of Parliament from 1979 to 2015 and a
member of the government from 1987 to 1997. He was a member of the
Cabinet as Secretary of State for the National Heritage from 1994 to
1995 and Secretary of State for Health from 1995 to 1997. Between 2010
and 2014, Stephen was the first elected chair of the
House of Commons Health Committee, developing the role of the Committee
as an authoritative cross-party voice on health and care policy.

Public Policy at UCL. She has served as Minister for Innovation in the

Health, Data and Digital Transformation of the NHS, Cybersecurity,
Brexit, Trade, Global Health Security and Public Health. Nicola oversaw
NHS Digital, Genomics England and the NIHR, and

Stephen Hammond MP is the Conservative MP for Wimbledon, and has been
since 2005. He was Minister of State in the Department of Health and
Social Care from November 2018 to July 2019. He was previously
Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport
from September 2012 to July 2014. He was a member of the Treasury
Select Committee from 2015-2018. Stephen also served as Shadow Secretary
of State for Transport from 2005 to 2010 and Parliamentary Private
Secretary to Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP from 2010 to 2012.
Before being elected to Parliament, Stephen worked for a leading fund
management company and a number of investment banks including Dresdner
Kleinwort Benson and Commerzbank Securities. He was a local councillor
