UPDATE: Death of woman, Tiverton

The death of a woman aged in her 50s at an address Bluebell Avenue, Tiverton, on Friday 22 October is no longer being treated as suspicious by police.

This follows an extensive investigation and results of a forensic post-mortem.

The criminal investigation has ceased. A man aged in his 60s, initially arrested as part of enquiries, has been released without charge and no further policing action will be taken.

The enquiry will now be formally handed over to the HM Coroner with supportive actions conducted by Devon and Cornwall Police.
