Police investigating several thefts from builders and plumbers merchants in Exeter are appealing for owners to come forward if materials have been taken.

It follows several thefts from these types of businesses, including one at a commercial premises on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate at around 3am, on Sunday 25 April.

A man, aged 35, from Exeter, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.

Police would like to hear from any businesses, particularly builders and plumbers merchants, that have been subjected to thefts of materials.
