Arson, Exeter

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack on a car in Newtown, Exeter.

Between the hours of 4am and 6am on Saturday 4 January, it is believed a piece of material was placed into the petrol tank of a blue Ford Focus parked in a car park on St Matthew’s Close and set alight using accelerant.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident to come forward and anyone with any information which could assist with police enquiries is asked to call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting CR/000978/20.
