463 kg of cocaine to be held by Turkish customs experts

(MENAFN)According to the trade minister, Turkish customs experts have held 463 kilograms (1,020 pounds) of cocaine from Turkey�s southern Mersin Port. Trade Minister Mehmet Mus tweeted �We'll never give the poison dealers a chance," to commend Customs Enforcement Teams on the drugs' holding. In last year, security forces did 159,259 counter-narcotic operations through Turkey, Anadolu Agency collected data. They detained 4,168 kilograms (more than 9,189 pounds) of methamphetamine, 1,954 kg (4,308 pounds) of cocaine, 1,484 kg (3,272 pounds) of synthetic cannabinoids, more than 11 million of ecstasy pills and not less than 4 million other kinds of narcotic pills.
