Japanese Market Edges Higher In Choppy Trade

The Japanese stock market is edging higher on Friday in choppy trade following the negative cues overnight from Wall Street amid renewed concerns about the impact of the coronavirus on the global economy after an increase in the number of virus cases reported outside of China. Investors also remained cautious ahead of the release of a raft of local economic data later today.
