From the Archives, 1976: Explosive start to Queen’s Festival Hall concert

Queen spewed blinding light, colour, sand, smoke, explosives and roses to it’s capacity audience at Festival Hall in Melbourne in 1976. Bouncers had their hands full as frenzied fans of the British rock group were dragged from the stage trying to get to lead singer Freddie Mercury.
