We’re just about coming up to the end of our second year of reviewing movies here at One News Page – and it’s been a mixed bag! 2018 looks to be just as exciting, and according to IMDB, moviegoers are getting particularly excited about a number of returning franchises – meaning that cinematic universes are once again the prime choice on the menu. Here’s our rundown of a few of the biggest movies we’ll be looking forward to in the months to come.
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Disney bridges the gap between major Star Wars releases with another spin-off – this time focusing on the life of intergalactic smuggler Han Solo, played by Alden Ehrenreich.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
One of the biggest-selling movies of all time returns in a big way following huge trailers in recent weeks – and this time around, saving dinosaurs is the name of the game.

We’re hugely excited to see another new character get his own Marvel epic, and Chadwick Boseman’s solo turn as future king T’Challa – after a barnstorming debut as part of the ensemble in 2016’s Civil War.

Avengers: Infinity War
Bringing together huge characters from every corner of the Marvel universe for a battle to end them all – welcome back Iron Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Thor, Black Widow, The Hulk, Black Panther and even the Guardians of the Galaxy – we can’t wait.

The irreverent superhero movie to end them all is back – and it’s just as hotly-anticipated second time around. Josh Brolin joins the cast as Cable – and while its official title hasn’t been confirmed yet, will any of Wade Wilson’s fans care what it’s called?

The Incredibles 2
They’re back! The surprise follow-up to the 2004 Pixar hit sees our favorite superhero family face new villains and new challenges – for Mr Incredible, that means babysitting.

Ralph Breaks the Internet
Disney’s animation focus is back on target in 2018, with the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph due early on in the year. This time around, Ralph manages to find his way into an internet-based populace – what inadvertent damage could he cause there?
A movie that’s faced significant issues behind the scenes has just picked up a new director in the form of Eddie the Eagle’s Dexter Fletcher – and we can’t wait to see how the life of Freddie Mercury and Queen translate to the big screen.
