You Can Buy David Bowie's Suit
It's an Issey Miyake number...
A suit once worn by *David Bowie* is going up for grabs at auction.
The designer two-piece was worn by Bowie on a night out in the early 80s, before being left behind in the club.
Finding its way into the hands of musician Jayce Lewis, the suit will be sold later this month.
It's a real piece of history, too: worn to fabled New Romantic den The Blitz, it was initially claimed by Steve Strange after being found in the cloak room.
*David Bowie* seemingly left behind the Issey Miyake whistle after noticing a few cigarette burns - ever the dapper gent, he insisted on a change of clothing before continuing his night.
Specialist Stephen Ferguson at Auction Antiques says: "Unusual items with a famous history are always the best and as a lifelong Bowie fan, this piece ticks all the boxes, as it will with other Bowie fans. With the V&A hoovering up Bowie’s entire wardrobe, this is a rare thing to appear on the open market, so we’re doubly excited to be offering it."
The suit will be *sold on March 25th at 10am* and is expected to raise between £10,000 and £15,000.
