*Pet Shop Boys* are teasing the release of new song 'Cricket Wife'.

The synth pop legends are currently prepping the latest edition of their yearly hardback book, available from May 7th.

The annual almanac will be accompanied by a CD featuring two new songs, including the lockdown version of their classic single 'West End Girls'.

New song 'Cricket Wife' began as a 10 minute neo-classical piece, with Neil Tennant then adding lyrics taken from a poem he had written.

Pete Gleadall mixed the final track, with everyone working remotely in their respective homes.
