*Riz Ahmed* has shared details of new project The Long Goodbye.

The actor and musician has been working on the project for some time, and it details his break up from a toxic relationship - the UK.

Very much informed by the right wing nationalism that underpinned the Brexit vote, it's set to be a highly personal take on British life.

The project is a mixture of music and visuals, with The Long Goodbye set to air next month as part of Manchester International Festival.

Directed by Kirsty Housley (Tao of Glass) and performed by Riz Ahmed, tickets for the project go on sale from Monday (February 17th) at 10am.

The news is prefaced by the following bars...

They put their boots on our ground
I put my roots in their ground
I put my truth in this sound
I spit my truth and it’s Brown

Given how fantastic both Riz MC and Swet Shop Boys' catalogues are, this will be worth investigating.
