*Taylor Swift* takes aim at the haters on new single 'You Need To Calm Down'.
The pop icon announced her new album via a Lindsay Lohan hijacked Insta-live video, with 'Lover' set to land on August 23rd.
It's a hefty 18 track affair, with Tay Tay also sharing a brand new synth jammer.
'You Need To Calm Down' is online now, with the clinical synths pulsating amid one of the best melodies Taylor has supplied in some time.
Shutting down the social media critics, it opens: "Taking shots at me like it’s Patron/And I’m just like, damn, it’s 7am/You need to calm down..."
The song goes on to reflect on the more conservative elements of Western society, with one verse clearly being a boost for LGBT+ communities in Pride month.
She sings: “Sunshine on the street at the parade/But you just wanna be in the dark age/Just making the sign/must’ve taken all night...”
