The program was the first of three events put on in partnership between the Portland Business Journal, Puget Sound Business Journal, and Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. “Schwabe has an industry-focus, cross-disciplinary practice that helps us see around corners, spot trends and navigate approaching challenges, whether providing legal advice and counsel support for maritime clients or clients in the manufacturing, distribution or retail industries. We bring deep industry knowledge and innovative approaches to helping our clients meet their goals and objectives,” Michael A. Cohen, industry group leader for Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt said, kicking off the program. Our esteemed panel included Christopher Alldredge, executive vice president and chief business development officer for Parr Lumber Company; Ryan Gavin, CMO and head of marketplace growth for Convoy; Dr. Karthik Murali, assistant professor of supply chain logistics management at Oregon State University; and Alex Strogen, chief commercial officer for the Port of Vancouver. This discussion was moderated by Candace Beeke, publisher and market president of the Portland Business Journal
