Kentucky surpasses 1,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus

Gov. Andy Beshear said Monday that Kentucky has officially passed 1,000 positive coronavirus cases as he continued urging social distancing. Beshear said the state has reached 1,008 confirmed positive cases, an increase of 54 new cases. He also confirmed 14 new coronavirus-related deaths, taking the total number of deaths related to the virus to 59.
