A contractor in Northern New York said under Gov. Andrew Cuomo's proposed expansion of the state's prevailing wage, the cost of a $6 million project he is working on near Plattsburgh could balloon to $9 million. The contractor, Jeff Luck, is worried the plan to expand New York's prevailing wage law to cover private projects could double the cost of labor and mean the loss of work and less economic development. Luck says he is not against paying workers fairly. He sees both sides of the situation.…
