Muslims gathered at the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem on Sunday to celebrate the start of Ramadan.
While the mosque has been flashpoint for the escalation of Israeli-Palestinian violence, Tel Aviv assured they would not restrict worshiping in the site.
