My friend, the late Dr. James Sire, in his 1988 book, “The Universe Next Door,” wrote, “A worldview is a set of presuppositions (or assumptions) which we hold (consciously or subconsciously) about the basic makeup of our world.” It answers the basic questions of, Origins, (Where did I come from?), Meaning (Why am I here?), Morality (Why should I live any particular way?), Destiny (Where am I going when I die?) and informs and shapes how we live.
