Frances Fox Piven and Richard Cloward, both professors at the Columbia School Of Social Work, collaborated on a paper/article that was printed on May, 1966 in The Nation titled; "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty." It became the playbook for breaking the system.
Cloward-Piven was a success.
The two, tenured radicals used their strategy to financially cripple the city of New York and send it into bankruptcy, which took years to recover from.
