Putin's rumoured goddaughter flees Russia after Moscow raids home

The Russian journalist and TV personality Ksenia Sobchak – the daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s one-time boss – has fled to Lithuania.

Moscow reportedly raided one of her houses as part of a criminal case into alleged wrongdoing by her media director, who was arrested on charges of extortion.

Sobchak has since said the charges are 'politically motivated' on her Telegram channel, but has yet to comment on her whereabouts.
