The president has cleaning up around the house doesn't have to be hard work.éé mandy shows us chore kits on mom to mom after the break.éé mandy has a nifty chore kit to get your kids helping out around the house.éé take a look.éé today on mom to mom, we've got a nifty chore kit to get your kids helping out around the house.
Kids do not like doing chores.
I mean, that's a given, right?
As a parent, we know this.
And when they do actually do them, they run around like the three stooges trying to find certain things for certain areas.
I happen to come across this really cool chore kit idea that i thought would work perfectly for our family.
So basically, you want to go the dollar tree, which is what i did, pick up one of these kits right here for a dollar, and then fill it with things specific to how you want things done.
I've got three kids, so we chose specific rooms. like this one is for the kitchen.
And then we printed these, um, list online, which you can find anywhere.
I laminated mine, just because i like for them to be able to check off each thing that they do with a dry erase marker.
And then you kind of fill it with things to clean that room.
Now, i've got one for the bathroom as well and one for dusting because i have a five year old and i really don't want him handling any kind of chemicals, so dusting is a perfect little chore for him.
Um, these are really inexpensive, super way to get your kids busy and not confused on what they're supposed to do and it's an all around way to get your kids helping around the house.
As a mom, i absolutely love these chore kits and we know kids are still not going to love doing those chores, but at least we'll know they'll be more organized doing them.
As always, moms, we love to hear your ideas and we'll see you on the next mom to mom.
Have you ever woken up in the morning and noticed some fog outside?éé have you ever stopped to think about how fog develops or what it actually is?
éé well, meteorologist trevor birchett has some answers in this week's weather whys.éé at least a few times a year, we wake up to a layer of dense fog blanketing the area.
It often leads to reduced visibilities and a slower morning commute.
Before we get too far into how fog forms, we need to understand what exactly it is.
And it's simple&fog is basically a cloud that is on the ground.
Now, there are several different types of fog, but we most commonly experience what's called radiation fog.
When the sun sets, moisture tends to stay at the surface while drier air stays more aloft.
Overnight, the warm air rises from the surface, allowing the temperature to drop.
When the temperature meets the dew point, we get a cloud, or if it's on the ground, we get fog.
This type of fog typically disappears as the sun comes out and warms the surface back above the dew point.
On the west coast, advection fog is more common.
This is when fog forms over the ocean surface and drifts over land.
Interestingly enough in the wintertime, if temperatures drop below freezing during fog, we can get freezing fog.
This is when the water droplets in fog freeze to surfaces and can lead to ice developing on bridges and roadways.
So the next time you wake up to some fog outside, you know how it formed.
Remember we want to hear your weather questions so we can answer them&and trust me, no question is a bad question!
Send them into us via email or social media, and we'll see you back here next week.

Tuesday: aside from a quick shower or two, tuesday and really the rest of the week will be dry.
We'll start off the day with a few clouds but sunshine will increase through the day.
You'll notice that temperatures will be much cooler...morning lows will be in the 50s and many areas will stay in the 60s through the day.
Wednesday-friday: picture-perfect is about the only way to describe the second half of the week.
Skies will remain mostly sunny with hardly a cloud in sight.
Highs will be in the low 70s on wednesday, but thursday will be a touch warmer with highs near 76.
However, a second cold front will bring in another shot of cooler air for friday, dropping our highs into the 60s once again.
Fortunately, we're not expecting any rain with this second front so skies will remain sunny.
Overnight lows will be in the upper 40s and low 50s.
Saturday-sunday: we'll see a few more clouds build in for the weekend, but we're expecting mostly sunny conditions to continue.
Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 70s each afternoon with overnight lows in the mid 40s.
A few showers are possible on sunday, but as of now, we're not expecting any major rain.

The bulldogs went to death valley, defeated the reigning national champs in mike leach's sec head coaching debut and comeback home as the 14th ranked team in the coaches poll.
Many wondered can the "air raid" system work in the sec?
Earlier in leach's coaching career, he spent time as the offensive coordinator for kentucky running the air raid.
Now, after record setting performances throughout the offense, the team has shown that this system is here to work now.
"i don't think its some special secret plays as much as its you constantly work every single day to execute what you do.
You got to make choices as to what you do otherwise you're doing everything and you'll lose track of it.
We lost track of it plenty today as it was, but at this stage, not having spring, all the young guys as it was i was proud of the way we executed even though there was definitely some sloppiness out there."
Despite falling to the then 5th ranked team in the country, ole miss and head coach lane kiffin have several positives to take away from saturday's game.
Starting quarterback matt corral finished the game with over 400 yards of total offense and 3 touchdowns to go along the way.
And junior wide receiver elijah moore hauled in 10 catches for 227 yards!
A big game for the duo that left kiffin hopeful for what the two can do moving forward.
"i think elijah is really special looking at his film last year and getting to work with him.
I met him after i watched and said you go to work harder than any other player.
You're going to shatter the school record for most catches in a year.
I think matt played really well which was good because we had not played well in the passing game the last couple scrimmages.
We didn't come close to this against our service team so it was great to see against a team that people don't do that too.
They're always good on defense.
Always give you issues.
Have really good players.
There was some really good execution by those two guys."
