Andrew Sachs, who played the well-meaning but disorganized Spanish waiter Manuel on the BBC series “Fawlty Towers,” died on Nov. 23rd. “Fawlty Towers,” starred John Cleese as inept hotel owner Basil Fawlty, and ran for two seasons from 1975 to 1979. The show went on to become a comedy classic both in the U.K. and America. According to The Daily Mail, Sachs was born in Germany, then moved to England with his family in 1938.
