News video: 15-Year-Old Girl Subdued With Pepper Spray, Police Release Bodycam VideoPolice in Hagerstown, Maryland are responding to protests over its use of pepper spray to subdue a teenage girl. Police in Hagerstown, Maryland are responding to protests over its use of pepper spray to subdue a teenage girl, reports ABC News.  Thus far, the department has given its account of what happened and released bodycam footage of the incident.  The 15-year-old allegedly hit a car while riding her bike on Sunday.  According to authorities, the girl was uncooperative when questioned about the accident, notes WTTG. As such, the decision to detain her was made. The girl allegedly resisted as officers tried to place her in the squad car, at which point the pepper spray was used. One of the protesters gathered outside the station questioned the actions of law enforcement, noting, “She was 15-years old, so you can’t tell me that two grown men needed to use that type of force to try to do whatever to her.”  The investigation into the incident remains underway.
