Abortion rates increase as teen pregnancy rates drop in North...TEENAGE pregnancies in North East Lincolnshire have fallen by 42 per cent in the last 14 years – but remain among the highest in England and Wales.Latest figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS) show the borough had the 14th highest teen pregnancy rate out of 400 local authorities in England and Wales in 2012 – compared to the 7th highest in 2010.In 1998, there were 212 pregnancies in under 18s in North East Lincolnshire, but by 2012 this had fallen to just 122.Officials...
