Outlook 2023: I’m an optimist… but I’m trying to avoid using phrases like omnishambles

I took a call from a client recently who suggested my recent articles should come with free Valium. Believe it or not, and despite the best efforts of the Bank of England, UK Government and our own local politicians, I am an optimist. So, when I set about considering what 2023 might have in store, I have made a conscious effort not to use phrases like omnishambles. That said, it is harder than I thought not to sum up the situation we find ourselves in seriously negative fashion.
